Our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) begins Monday, October 1st. Classes are held on Mondays in Dwyer Hall from 7pm-8pm. If you know of a family member, friend, co-worker, or neighbor who is interested in the Catholic faith, please be sure to invite them to be a part of this group which meets once a week until the end of the Easter season. Our team of dedicated parishioners and priests share their faith and the teachings of the Church and the experience of the community, as we invite and welcome people to join us. Please invite them to give us a call!
ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT THE CATHOLIC FAITH? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children is a process designed by the Church for adults and older children to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion. The goals are to give a complete overview of Catholic teachings and to begin to deepen a Christian spiritual life centered in the Sunday Scripture readings. The sacraments are received at the Easter Vigil Mass. Are you:
- a person who has not been baptized and would like to learn more about the Catholic faith with the possibility of becoming Catholic?
- a baptized Christian of another denomination who would like to learn more about and possibly join the Catholic church?
- a baptized Roman Catholic who has never received Eucharist or Confirmation and would like to complete their sacraments?
- a child over the age of 7 who has never been baptized or has been baptized in another Christian faith or has been baptized Catholic and never received Catholic instruction?
RCIA & RCIC offer an environment of support and guidance as you discover how God is working in your life. Is this process for you? Do you have a friend or neighbor who may be interested?
