We are truly honored to journey with your family as you prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation! Confirmation will complete the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation) and integrate you more fully into the Catholic Community.
Our Confirmation program at IC is a 2-year compilation designed to offer High School students a complete formative experience – a spiritual, catechetical, Christ-centered experience which develops a better awareness of the Spirit in their lives and calls them to discipleship. Classes are held once a month beginning in September and continuing through April, with the Confirmation ceremony in May. Whether this if your first or second year of formal preparation for the Sacrament, we hope you will grow in faith as you journey with Christ!
Please note that students applying for the Confirmation program should have regularly attended Faith Formation classes for 7th and 8th grade.
If your child did not regularly attend those classes, there will be a make-up requirement prior to the start of Confirmation classes. If your child needs to make up some of that work, you will have received a letter in June.
