Prayer Shawl Ministry

Can you touch a prayer? Can you pull it close and feel its comfort? Yes, you can! Prayer Shawl Ministry of IC makes shawls for individuals who are going through a difficult time in life … sickness, depression, grief … to name just a few. The primary mission of our ministry is not to make and distribute shawls, but to provide a tangible form of intercessory prayer through our shawls; As our shawls are being created, prayers are said for the individual who will receive the shawl. Upon completion, our shawls are then blessed by a priest. As a member of the IC family, you are welcome to request a prayer shawl for a friend or loved one. There is no fee involved.
